WPIR Guest Lecture: Robert Bruce Adolph

On Tuesday 17 November, from 11.00 to 12.30, in Aula C, the Department of Political and Social Sciences will host a Guest Lecture by Robert Bruce Adolph, former US Army Special Forces Lieutenant Colonel and United Nations Chief Security Advisor, titled:

“What’s Wrong with America?”

Following his retirement from active military service, during which he participated in UN peacekeeping missions in Egypt and Israel, Cambodia, and Iraq and Kuwait, Robert Adolph became a Defense Advisor to the Bosnian Ministry of Defense in Sarajevo in the wake of the Balkan Wars. He later began a second career as a UN Chief Security Officer, and was subsequently assigned to Sierra Leone, Yemen, Iraq, Ethiopia, Egypt, Israel/Palestine, Indonesia, and UN Headquarters in New York as the Chief of the Middle East and North Africa. He is the author of Surviving the United Nations. The Unexpected Challenge (New Academia Publishing, 2020).
